SWLL Update:
October 1, 2007
Hope everyone is having a great
season so far with Fall ball. We are getting everything together for
the SWLL Play Day and team meeting. All teams should've gotten an
email from Meghan.
Here is the most up to date
contact list that Meghan has.
Please email her with any
changes.
Updated contact list Fall 2007
Finally, for teams that are
hoping to join SWLL, here is the updated application. You need to get
these back to Meghan by November 1 to be considered. You will then
need to present at the Board meeting on November 17 at Emory to explain to
the league why you should be a member of SWLL. Please contact Meghan (MCDONOGH@cua.edu)
with any questions.

SWLL Update:
August 28, 2007
We have decided the date for the
Fall Play Day this year. We will hold it at Emory University
again, on Saturday, November 17, 2007. Games will be
played from approximately 9 am til 4 pm, with the board meeting held
after that in the Woodruff Center. The scheduling meeting will
be Sunday, November 18 in the Woodruff Center as well.
As stated in the email that
Meghan sent out last week, she and I will both be stepping down from our
current positions in SWLL and we are looking for some folks to step up and
take the reigns. Please contact Meghan (MCDONOGH@cua.edu)
if you are interested. We will then be in touch with you with a "job
description" of sorts of exactly what the position entails. We need a
President, Vice President, and a few other positions on the board, so please
be in touch if you are interested in helping.
Finally, please
send any changes/topics for discussion to Meghan for the Board meeting in
November. Also, please send your teams contact information to her as
well so that we can keep and updated list. You will also be able to
edit this list at the meeting for future reference. I realize we had a
tough time with the email list from last year, so we are going to try to
keep it a little more organized for this year.
Thanks so much
and get excited about a fun Fall season, to be quickly followed by a great
Spring season! Good luck to all teams! As usual, please contact
me (crews.jennifer@gmail.com)
or Meghan (MCDONOGH@cua.edu) with any
questions.

SWLL Update:
April 16, 2007
The final rankings are now on the
Rankings page. Teams, please check your
status and then send me an
email to let me know that your team will definitely be coming to the
Tournament weekend. Also include which hotel your team is staying at.
We are excited about a fun weekend! Please refer to this bracket to
see when your teams will be playing:
http://www.bracketmaker.com/tlist.cfm?tid=216156
Field #1 refers to the turf
field. Field #2 refers to the side field.
All teams: there is one
turf field and one regular field so bring shoes for both if necessary.
Please email me with any
questions.

SWLL Update:
April 11, 2007
I have updated the
Rankings page, as of today. There are 2
games that still will be played this weekend. The final rankings
should be posted as soon as the final scores are in. Most of the teams
should know whether or not your team is attending the Champs, so please make
proper arrangements, etc. Also, please let us know if your will not
be able to attend, so that we may make other arrangements and invite the
next ranked team.
SWLL Update:
April 2, 2007
I have finally updated the
2007 Championship site, and it should have the
correct link. Everything should be as up to date as possible, and I
will be making changes and updates accordingly. Please email me with
any discrepancies you see
crews.jennifer@gmail.com
I am updating the scores and
rankings as we go.
Teams: I will be sending
you an email and also posting the T-shirt preorder form on the Champs
website. I will set a deadline of when these have to be back to me
(probably April 10th or so) so that we can set aside the correct amount of
shirts for your players. Remember to pre-order to make sure to get the
size you want!
SWLL Update:
February 26, 2007
All Teams: Please note
Stacie Dees new email address. Please use this address when sending
her emails:
wrightstacie@yahoo.com
**ALSO: Please check the
Schedule AGAIN to make sure that all dates and times are correct. We
have had numerous problems with last minute changes and information.
Email Jen Crews
Meghan,
Beth, and
Stacie if there are any changes
ASAP!
SWLL Update:
February 15, 2007
Tom, the coach at UCF, asked me
to put up this link for the tournament that UCF, UGA, and UF are attending
this weekend. Please check it out to support your SWLL teams!
http://laxknights.ialax.com/
Check out the Sunshine State
Tournament information in the middle of the page. Good luck to all
SWLL teams. Out of league teams will be in town including Texas A&M,
Navy, Michigan, and Colorado. All of these teams made it to the club
championships last year, so SWLL teams are playing very competitive games.
Good luck to all SWLL teams!
SWLL Update:
February 13, 2007
The SWLL 2007 Schedule has been
updated with accurate scores of the SWLL games. Please note, all games
that were on the schedule against UNF or UA are counted as forfeits.
Both teams have informed the SWLL that they will not be able to participate
this year. We are trying our best to keep the seasons and schedules as
fair as possible for post-season play, etc. Thanks for your patience
and understanding.
SWLL Update:
January 31, 2007
Please note that I corrected
Meghan's address from the Jan 22 update. It is
Mcdonogh@cua.edu. Sorry for the
confusion.
Here is the score report that
each team should use for keeping stats. Remember, these should be sent
to Jen,
Meghan and
Christina by 1 pm the Monday
following your game. Game Eval
Also, please follow this link to
read about the Disney tourney that took place last weekend.
http://laxmagazine.cstv.com/sports/s-inter/content/013007aaa.html
Finally, please check
www.fsuwomenslacrosse.com for
updates about games and links to club websites. Rick Brown does a
great job of keeping this website up to date, and I'm usually more delayed,
unfortunately. Thanks for your understanding.
SWLL Update:
January 22, 2007
All Teams, please use the
following Scoring Report when scoring your games. Please send these to
me (crews.jennifer@gmail.com),
Meghan (mcdonogh@cua.edu), and
Christina (cesswll@gmail.com) by 5 pm
the following Monday after your game.
Also, I am still ironing out the
email address problem. I will upload the most recent Contact List to
this homepage when I receive it. I'm trying to figure out an easy way
to keep this up to date. If you are on the email I am about to send
out and shouldn't be, please let me know, and inform me who it should be
sent to. I'm trying to get all of these straight. Thanks.
